About Me

From a very young age I had interest in nerdy or geeky things. When I was little, my family got an NES. At the time I was so small that most of what I did was annoy my sister because I had no idea what I was doing other than mashing on pretty buttons. As I got older, I formed some of my most cherished memories of playing video games alongside my sister and mother. The nerdy avalanche had begun.

Since then I've discovered an interest
and passion for many things considered
‘nerdy’. I still have an immense love for video games, anything from Tomba or Ocarina of Time, to Bioshock and World of Warcraft. Would you kindly keep reading? Within the last year I’ve gotten into table top gaming, which I’m still learning, yet I find almost as magical as magic missiles. Not only do I love the fantastic characters that come along in various medias of geekery, but I enjoy looking like them. Cosplay is something that I picked up and ran with. Okay, I think I ran, I may look like QWOP. Nevertheless, these are just a few things I’m interested in to give you a feel for me as a person.

As of late, my life has been changing significantly. I’ve recently started my (albeit late) dive back into college. I’ve establish an addiction to the drug that is World of Warcraft, and found myself realizing that I probably shouldn’t spend time on it at four in the morning which is then drowned out by the shouting of “LOK’TAR OGAR” in my head. I’m dipping my toe in Warhammer 40K soon, as well as playing in an extended D&D campaign. Some of you know that I’m also admining on the page Nerds Do It Better! Now I’d like to branch off into something new, like binge drinking! Or you know, a blog. Yeah.. Let’s go with a blog.

Speaking of which, let’s get into the nitty gritty of what I’ll be up to here. Here in my blog I’ll be covering anything from a tutorial on something I’ve done or made to my opinion or review of something. This could be: cosplay, props, nail design, nerd news, events and more! I will try to keep it as fresh as a fire flower. I really appreciate those taking the time to read and value constructive feedback as well. I’ll also take suggestions, as long as they’re reasonable.
